In HDB’s November 2022 Build-To-Order (BTO) exercise, Queensway Canopy is the only development to be launched in a mature estate in Singapore. Nevertheless, the convenience of a mature estate is often offset by crowded housing options with higher chances of encountering conflict points (sharp edges pointed towards your potential home) from surrounding buildings or structures that are not ideal for fengshui.

In the case of Queensway Canopy, those who are choosing from the outer stack along Queensway road will face a reserved site for future high rise residential development. This indicates potential conflict points, as well as pollution and negative energies (Sha Qi) during the construction period.

As for the outer stacks facing Queen’s Crescent road, some may wonder about its proximity to Alexandra hospital. There are two multi-storey car parks at Queensway Canopy that are 5/6 storeys tall. Those who are choosing units nearby may want to take note of this, in case of Sound Sha [声煞] and Light Sha [光煞]. If you are opting for a lower-storey unit, consider installing a window blind.
