However, its proximity to the MRT train station and Singapore Polytechnic (just across the road) means higher human traffic and noises, especially during peak hours. Commonwealth Avenue West is usually very congested during peak hours too. Those who value peace and quiet should consider higher floor units or those at the inner stacks or those along Ulu Pandan Canal.

Those who are choosing from the stacks facing Commonwealth Avenue West should also be mindful of the following:

Facing / Proximity to the Bin Centre: Lower floor units of Stack 317, 319, 321, 203, 205 may be affected. Do ensure that your front door (especially those on the lower floor units) does not face the Bin Centre directly, otherwise your house will be amongst the first to be affected by rubbish stench once the wind starts blowing even if the estate uses the Pneumatic Waste Conveyance System (PWCS).

Facing the multi-storey car park (MSCP): Lower floor units of Stack 201, 203, 217, 219, 253, 255, 269, 271 may encounter Sound Sha [声煞] and Light Sha [光煞]. This could cause disturbances to daily life such as insomnia. The MSCP at Ulu Pandan Banks is 5 storeys tall, so those who are choosing units nearby may want to take note of this. If you are opting for a lower-storey unit, consider installing a window blind.

Facing the reserved site for future high rise residential development: While the future high rise residential building could potentially help to block some traffic noises, homeowners choosing a unit from Stack 307, 305, 321, 323 must beware of potential conflict points, as well as pollution and negative energies (Sha Qi) during the construction period.
