Ghim Moh Natura: Landform fengshui
Bounded by Ghim Moh Road, Ghim Moh Close, Commonwealth Avenue West, and the Rail Corridor, Ghim Moh Natura is located near Buona Vista MRT station and part of the Health District @ Queenstown.
From a fengshui viewpoint, this new BTO development sits on the Western Dragon and belongs to the unique fengshui formation of “Combination of Four Animals”, which spans across Holland Road, Kent Ridge, South Buona Vista Road and Haw Par Villa.
Ghim Moh Natura resides within the landform at Holland Road, which exhibits traits of an eagle, soaring with its spread wings and creating the “Flying Eagle Diving for Food” formation. Residents who live in this area are likely to receive aid from many foreign friends when they are in need. This area is also advantageous for those who work in the political or military field.
Internal fengshui considerations
When it comes to choosing an ideal unit, keep in mind that the main orientation of a house will directly influence the overall luck of its residents. The house orientation refers to the facing of your house, which can be measured from the main entrance where qi flows in.
Ghim Moh Natura comprises 4 residential blocks ranging from 15 to 40 storeys tall. Homeseekers can choose from 991 units of 2-room Flexi, 3-, and 4-room flats.
Based on fengshui analysis, North and South are the most auspicious directions in the upcoming Periods 9 and 1 (years 2024 – 2063), and Northwest and Southeast are the second most auspicious directions.
Most of the BTO units at Ghim Moh Natura face the above mentioned favourable directions. Aspiring homeowners planning to get a BTO unit here are advised to select a unit wisely. Here’s what we recommend:
North/Northwest facing units
Blk 50B – 116, 126, 128
Blk 51A – 130, 132
South/Southeast facing units
Blk 50B – 118, 120, 122
Blk 51A – 134, 136, 138
Northwest-facing units
Blk 50A – 100, 102, 112
Blk 52A – 154, 156, 158, 160
It is important to note that there is no fixed lucky direction that caters to everyone. If necessary, you can seek advice from a professional fengshui practitioner to help you create a harmonious environment in your new home.
Exterior fengshui considerations

As one’s external environment accounts for more than interior considerations, it is important to consider features of the surrounding space when selecting a new home. It is always worthwhile to do a physical site visit prior to your property purchase.
Located right next to a park and the Rail Corridor, Ghim Moh Natura promises its future residents a slice of nature with its surroundings as well as roof gardens with panoramic views. In addition, it is near to the neighbourhood centre, retail options, Buona Vista MRT station, and a few sought after primary schools in the vicinity, which will suit families with young children.
Such convenience generally implies a more crowded housing environment and potential Sha (conflict points). Thankfully, the inward facing stacks at Ghim Moh Natura look to be a good distance from one another.
Do note that some stacks (130, 132, 144, 146, 158, 160) face the 7-storey car park directly. Constant vehicle movements indicate Sound Sha [声煞] and Light Sha [光煞], which could cause disturbances to daily life such as insomnia. For those who choose a lower floor unit that faces the car park, please consider installing a window blind.
Having your front door directly facing or being near the refuse chute is by no means a pleasant thing. That’s why we are perplexed to see Stack 116 and 118 to be in close proximity to the refuse chute. Should the refuse chute be clogged or overflowing with trash, your house will be amongst the first to be affected by the stench once the wind starts blowing. That’s one of the 5 things to avoid doing to your front door for fengshui’s sake.
Higher traffic noises are also expected where Ghim Moh Natura is based, especially for those staying in the stacks of Block 52A facing the main road (Commonwealth Avenue) and main MRT line. Nevertheless, the MSCP would create a buffer. To further reduce noise disturbances from the external environment, sound insulation could be an option.
Several roads and sites around Ghim Moh Natura are reserved for development. Potential homeowners should take note as these future developments can sometimes affect your existing home fengshui.
Did you know?
Events and happenings within a space create energy vibrations that can either be positive or negative. These are not limited to indoor spaces, but could also be infused into the estate that you plan to live in. Hence, it makes sense to understand the history of your to-be neighbourhood, especially recent happenings that could leave traces of remnant energies.
Prior to selecting your house or flat, take a walk in the estate and take note of the features of surrounding buildings that may harbour threats of negative influences or hinder ventilation within your home. The main idea is to garner and ensure the smooth flow of positive Qi (energy) within your new home while avoiding Sha Qi (negative energies).
Sha Qi in the environment surrounding your home can manifest into loss of wealth, accidents, and sickness. If there are sharp edges pointed towards your potential home, then it is best to consider another unit or seek advice from a professional fengshui practitioner.
Some common obstructive landforms include sharp corners of nearby buildings, T-junctions, expressways, train stations, construction sites, etc. as well as buildings (i.e. bridges or subway tracks ) that are built too near to your block and create oppression.
Which fengshui BTO units to choose in Ghim Moh Natura?
The prime location of Ghim Moh Natura makes it very attractive, but in space-constrained Singapore, this means that residents living in such locations are bound to be affected by lights, noises and potential conflict points from nearby buildings and busy roads.
As such, it is important to select a unit that is auspicious in the reigning luck cycle and suitable for your bazi. Selecting a fengshui unit can also help you to create a harmonious home, improve mood and energy, and attract opportunities and benefactors.
So, wait no further! Our masters will evaluate your units based on a four-point method, analysing the luck cycle, direction, Bazi suitability and missing sector to make your fengshui selection unit a breeze. Learn more here.
