Ghim Moh Natura is one of the two new housing projects in the mature estate of Queenstown to be launched under the Prime Location Public Housing (PLH) model in HDB’s November 2022 Build-To-Order (BTO) exercise.

Ghim Moh Natura: Landform fengshui

Bounded by Ghim Moh Road, Ghim Moh Close, Commonwealth Avenue West, and the Rail Corridor, Ghim Moh Natura is located near Buona Vista MRT station and part of the Health District @ Queenstown.

From a fengshui viewpoint, this new BTO development sits on the Western Dragon and belongs to the unique fengshui formation of “Combination of Four Animals”, which spans across Holland Road, Kent Ridge, South Buona Vista Road and Haw Par Villa.

Ghim Moh Natura resides within the landform at Holland Road, which exhibits traits of an eagle, soaring with its spread wings and creating the “Flying Eagle Diving for Food” formation. Ghim Moh Natura comprises 4 residential blocks ranging from 15 to 40 storeys tall. Homeseekers can choose from 991 units of 2-room Flexi, 3-, and 4-room flats.

Based on fengshui analysis, North and South are the most auspicious directions in the upcoming Periods 9 and 1 (years 2024 – 2063), and Northwest and Southeast are the second most auspicious directions.

Located right next to a park and the Rail Corridor, Ghim Moh Natura promises its future residents a slice of nature with its surroundings as well as roof gardens with panoramic views. In addition, it is near to the neighbourhood centre, retail options, Buona Vista MRT station, and a few sought after primary schools in the vicinity, which will suit families with young children.

Such convenience generally implies a more crowded housing environment and potential Sha (conflict points). Thankfully, the inward facing stacks at Ghim Moh Natura look to be a good distance from one another.

Do note that some stacks (130, 132, 144, 146, 158, 160) face the 7-storey car park directly. Constant vehicle movements indicate Sound Sha [声煞] and Light Sha [光煞], which could cause disturbances to daily life such as insomnia. For those who choose a lower floor unit that faces the car park, please consider installing a window blind.

Having your front door directly facing or being near the refuse chute is by no means a pleasant thing. That’s why we are perplexed to see Stack 116 and 118 to be in close proximity to the refuse chute. Should the refuse chute be clogged or overflowing with trash, your house will be amongst the first to be affected by the stench once the wind starts blowing. That’s one of the 5 things to avoid doing to your front door for fengshui’s sake.

Higher traffic noises are also expected where Ghim Moh Natura is based, especially for those staying in the stacks of Block 52A facing the main road (Commonwealth Avenue) and main MRT line. Nevertheless, the MSCP would create a buffer. To further reduce noise disturbances from the external environment, sound insulation could be an option.

Several roads and sites around Ghim Moh Natura are reserved for development. Potential homeowners should take note as these future developments can sometimes affect your existing home fengshui.
