Fengshui Review of Bidadari Estates

Located in the central region of Singapore, the new Bidadari estate consists of private luxury condominiums and 12 Build-To-Order (BTO) developments across four districts – Woodleigh, Alkaff, Bartley Heights and Park Edge. Woodleigh district, which consists of 2,685 flats, including 312 rental units, is the first to have all its BTO flats completed.

In this series of articles, we will take in-depth fengshui reviews on the new residences in Bidadari to assess their fengshui qualities and see if these estates have good home fengshui. Read on!
1. Woodleigh Glen

Bounded by Woodleigh Link, Upper Serangoon Road and Bidadari Park Drive, Woodleigh Glen sits on the Eastern Dragon and is part of the “Transporting Cart of Gold and Jade” formation, a propitious land suitable for industries such as commerce, finance, accounting, investments, etc.
This new Bidadari BTO development comprises 688 residential units across 8 blocks from 8 to 14 storey in height with 2-room Flexi, 3-room and 4-room flats. The majority of units at Woodleigh Glen face North, South, Northwest or Southeast, which are the most auspicious directions in the upcoming Period 9 and 1 (years 2024 – 2063).

2. Woodleigh Hillside

Located at Bidadari Park Drive, Woodleigh Hillside sits on the Eastern Dragon, representative of the Wood element. It seems fitting that the garden estate is built with the vision of “A Community in a Garden” where there would be much greenery.
Woodleigh Hillside provides 1,355 residential units across 13 blocks with the tallest at 16-storey with 2-room Flexi, 3-room, 4-room, 5-room, and 3Gen flats. While many units at this new BTO residence face an auspicious direction, some units lie at the border of North and Northeast or South and Southwest. Homeowners should note that Northeast & Southwest are not favourable directions for Period 9 (2024 -2043).
3. Woodleigh Village

Bounded by Upper Serangoon Road, Woodleigh Link, and Bidadari Park Drive, Woodleigh Village sits on the Eastern Dragon, similar to the other BTO projects in Woodleigh. Built upon the land of a former cemetery, these housing projects share the same landform fengshui.
Homeowners should note that there are various factors when it comes to home fengshui, one of which is your home orientation. Woodleigh Village comprises 330 residential units of 3-room and 4-room flats across 3 blocks that are 13 storeys in height. Many units face the auspicious directions of North and South but some face the less favourable directions in the upcoming Period 9 (2024 -2043).
4. Woodleigh Residences

Inspired by the “Syakkei” concept of borrowing scenery from the biodiversity environment, The Woodleigh Residences is a luxury condominium that sits alongside various upcoming BTO housing developments in the new Bidadari estate. From a fengshui perspective, it is part of the “Transporting Cart of Gold and Jade” formation.
The Woodleigh Residences comprises 667 residential units across 11 blocks at 11-storey each and a 2-storey shopping podium with several units facing the auspicious directions of the upcoming Period 9 (2024 -2043).
5. Alkaff Vista

Located along Upper Serangoon Road, Alkaff Vista is one of the first few public housing developments in the Bidadari estate. It sits on the Eastern Dragon of the Wood element that represents growth and is part of the “Transporting Cart of Gold and Jade” formation.
Alkaff Vista comprises 4 residential blocks of 350 units of 4- and 5-room flats, ranging from 7 to 17 storeys. Those staying in Block 105A, 106A and 106B whose unit faces North and South shall enjoy favourable luck, as these are the auspicious directions in the upcoming Period 9 (year 2024 – 2043) and Period 1 (year 2044 – 2063).
6. Alkaff Lakeview

Located along the Alkaff District in Bidadari, Alkaff LakeView falls between the formations of “Transporting Cart of Gold and Jade” and the “White Crane Spreading its Wings”. This is an auspicious land that is beneficial to career developments.
Alkaff LakeView comprises 3 residential blocks of 531 units of 3- and 4-room flats at a height of 17 storeys. The majority of units in this soon-to-MOP housing estate face North or South, which is ideal in terms of home fengshui in the upcoming Period 9 and Period 1 (years 2024 – 2063).
7. Alkaff Courtview

Located along Upper Aljunied Road and Upper Serangoon Road in District 13, Alkaff CourtView is an award-winning HDB development that is part of the fengshui land formation of “Transporting Cart of Gold and Jade”.
Comprising 6 residential blocks of 1,258 units of 2-room flexi, 3- and 4-room flats, most units at Alkaff CourtView face an auspicious direction whereas those whose unit faces East or West should consider a fengshui consultation as these directions are not as favourable in the upcoming fengshui periods.
8. Alkaff Oasis

Located at the junction of Bidadari Park Drive and Alkaff Crescent, Alkaff Oasis sits on the Eastern Dragon of the Wood element, which interestingly corresponds with the estate designed to be an urban oasis in a garden-like setting with much greenery.
Alkaff Oasis comprises 16 residential blocks of 1,594 units of 2-room flexi, 3-, 4-, 5-room, and 3Gen flats at a height of 17 storeys. Due to the scale of the housing development, the units are facing different directions, including North, South, Northwest, Southeast, and some at the borderline of two directions.
9. Alkaff Breeze

Bounded by Upper Aljunied Road and Alkaff Crescent, Alkaff Breeze is located near to Alkaff Lakeview and similarly, falls between two fengshui land formations, namely “Transporting Cart of Gold and Jade” and the “White Crane Spreading its Wings”. Those who are ambitious shall be able to stand out from the crowd and attain great achievements in this auspicious land that is beneficial to career developments.
Alkaff Breeze comprises 3 residential blocks of 353 units of 4- and 5-room flats, ranging from 14 to 16 storeys. Most units are facing North or South, which is highly favourable.
