Built upon the site of the former en bloc’ Florence Regency, The Florence Residences is conveniently located near to various amenities, with the Hougang Active SG stadium to its North, a park at its Northeast and various eateries in the vicinity. There are also various schools within 1km to cater to families with school children, e.g. Xinmin Primary, Montfort Junior, Holy Innocents Primary, Xinmin Secondary, Montfort Secondary, etc.
As we take a closer look at this luxurious condo, note that there is a T-junction to the front of The Florence Residences. From a fengshui perspective, T-junction represents potential Sha energy / poison arrow, where the fast-moving qi may collide with the residential premises, implying severe loss for homeowners in terms of career, health or wealth. Nevertheless, a cascading water feature takes centre stage at the main entrance of The Florence Residences, which is helpful in minimising the T-junction impact.
From a practical viewpoint, facing the end of a T-junction means more traffic, which means light pollution (from headlights of oncoming cars at night) and Sound Sha from the traffic. Some blocks facing Hougang Ave 2 (e.g. 81, 95 and 97) are more susceptible to these disturbances. Homeowners may consider installing sound-proof windows or curtains and blinds for a more conducive space.
Internal fengshui considerations
Homeowners should bear in mind the main orientation of your house, as it will directly influence the overall luck of your household member(s). The house orientation refers to the facing of your house, which can be measured from the main entrance where qi flows in.

The Florence Residences offers 1,410 residential units across 9 blocks, each 18 storey in height. The majority of units in this luxury condo face North or South, which is ideal in terms of home fengshui in the upcoming Period 9 and Period 1 (years 2024 – 2063).
