Bukit Merah Ridge: Landform fengshui

Bukit Merah Ridge, bounded by Bukit Merah View, Henderson Road, Tiong Bahru Road, and Lower Delta Road, is located in the precinct of Bukit Merah & Telok Blangah. This BTO estate under the PLH model sits on the Western Dragon and falls in the fengshui land formation of the “Land of Buffaloes”.

It is believed that the “Land of Buffaloes” houses two buffaloes that fled from Tiong Bahru due to the nearby formation of “Combination of Four Animals”. Buffaloes are known for their diligence and this quality is reflected in the residents staying in this area. In the face of pressure, they would perform better and display strong determination too.

Internal fengshui considerations

When it comes to choosing an ideal unit, keep in mind that the main orientation of a house will directly influence the overall luck of its residents. The house orientation refers to the facing of your house, which can be measured from the main entrance where qi flows in.

Bukit Merah Ridge comprises 5 residential blocks ranging from 29 to 48 storeys in height, and will have a total of 1,669 units of 3- and 4-room flats. Based on fengshui analysis, North and South are the most auspicious directions in the upcoming Periods 9 and 1 (years 2024 – 2063).

Aspiring homeowners who are eyeing to get a BTO unit at Bukit Merah Ridge will be happy to know that approximately half of the units face North/South. Based on our fengshui analysis, potential homeowners can consider the following stacks

North-facing units

Blk 134A – 516, 518

Blk 135A – 532, 534

Blk 136A – 548, 550, 560, 562

Blk 137A – 564, 566, 576, 578

South-facing units

Blk 134A – 520, 522

Blk 135A – 536, 538

Blk 136A – 552, 554, 556

Blk 137A – 568, 570, 572

It is important to note that there is no fixed lucky direction that caters to everyone.

Selecting a suitable flat can be a daunting task, especially if you are a first-time homeowner. When in doubt, you may like to leave it to the professionals. Way Fengshui provides end-to-end fengshui services from selecting an ideal unit to helping you create a harmonious environment in your new home.

Exterior fengshui considerations

As one’s external environment accounts for more than interior considerations, it is important to consider features of the surrounding space when selecting a new home. Inspired by the greenery at Telok Blangah Hill Park, Mount Faber Park, and the nearby Tiong Bahru Park, Bukit Merah Ridge boasts lush landscaping and roof gardens, which is conducive for comfortable living.

In terms of convenience, Bukit Merah Ridge is located near many facilities and amenities in the mature estate, surrounded by Tiong Bahru Park, Henderson Community Club, Tiong Bahru Plaza, a neighbourhood centre that comes with a market and hawker centre along Bukit Merah View.

Nevertheless, the stacks within each block at Bukit Merah Ridge are built quite close together, so it’s important for potential homeowners to take note of sharp edges pointed towards your potential home, as these are conflict points that are not ideal for fengshui. It is best to avoid such units or if inevitable, consider seeking advice from a professional fengshui practitioner

T- and cross-junction roads are potential landform obstructions that could bring Sha Qi, but one will not be affected if your home is located on a higher floor. Those choosing Stacks 504, 506, 508, 510, 512 and 514 at block 132A and Stacks 536 and 538 at block 135A should take note of this.

Lower floor units of stacks that are located near/ directly facing the multi-storey car park (MSCP) may be subject to Sound Sha [声煞] and Light Sha [光煞]. This could cause disturbances to daily life such as insomnia. The MSCPs at Bukit Merah Ridge are 8 storeys tall, so those who are choosing units nearby may want to take note of this. If you are opting for a lower-storey unit, consider installing a window blind.

Did you know?

With some units boasting views of the Southern Ridges and Mount Faber, are you considering a higher floor unit at Bukit Merah Ridge

From the fengshui aspect, the higher you are staying, there’s a lower chance of encountering certain fengshui conflicts, as mentioned above. For example, premises at higher levels would not have the problem of facing MSCP – typically 5 or 6 storeys high – which may bring forth disturbance and negative energies. In the case of this BTO estate at Bukit Merah, it is 8 storeys.

A building’s height is an important consideration when selecting an ideal property. Opting for apartments on higher floors helps to reduce the likelihood of encountering negative forces. Nevertheless, do note that there are challenges to accumulating auspicious energies. Always keep in mind that moderation is key.

Which fengshui BTO units to choose in Bukit Merah Ridge?

The prime location of Bukit Merah Ridge makes it very attractive, but it is important to select a unit that is auspicious in the reigning luck cycle and suitable for your bazi. Selecting a fengshui unit can also help you to create a harmonious home, improve mood and energy, and attract opportunities and benefactors.

So, wait no further! Our masters will evaluate your units based on a four-point method, analysing the luck cycle, direction, Bazi suitability and missing sector to make your fengshui selection unit a breeze. Learn more here.
