Located at Westwood Avenue across the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) from Cleantech Park and Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Westwood Residences sits on the Western Dragon in Boon Lay & NTU. This area reflects the fengshui land formations of “Mudskipper Crossing the River” and the “Roc Spreading its Wings”. The latter denotes a bright future for those who are ambitious.
Topographically, Boon Lay is a valley land that was once a swamp, thereby affirming a water source. Stacks located nearer to PIE (1, 2, 5, 6, 9, 10, 13, 14, 17 and 20) have bedroom units and balconies facing the expressway. In particular, units on mid to higher floors may be subjected to constant vehicle movements that indicate Sound Sha [声煞] and Light Sha [光煞]. Stacks located near to facilities such as the children’s playground (2, 5) and tennis court (13, 14) – especially for lower floor units – may also be subjected to higher noise levels and this should be taken into consideration when selecting your property.
As the development area is pretty well-contained, there could be conflicting forces from neighbouring blocks with potential some units likely to encounter the Sharp Edge Sha (尖角煞). This typically occurs when the door or window of your unit faces the corner of a nearby building. Such negative energies can result in increased anxiety and inability to concentrate, which may affect career and academic development.
