Yishun Glade may sit in one of Singapore’s quirkiest towns, but its fengshui layers deserve a closer look! Launched in HDB’s October 2025 BTO exercise, this Standard project draws inspiration from the nearby Sungei Khatib Bongsu mangroves and offers one of the shortest waiting times in the launch.

In Singapore, the Five Dragon Landform Fengshui harnesses “hidden dragons”, which are man-made structures that channel energy flows. The inner block of Yishun Glade comprises 17 stacks, which is a relatively high number as compared to its surrounding blocks with 8 stacks. If you are balloting for a unit, stay mindful of conflicting forces such as Sharp Edge Sha (尖角煞) and Wall Blade Sha (壁刀煞).

The former occurs when a residential unit faces the sharp edge of a neighbouring structure. Although there seems to be a sufficient space buffer, stack 104 and 106 face the5-storey Multi-Storey Car Park (MSCP) directly. Lower floor units of these stacks may encounter conflicting forces (煞气) such as noise pollution (噪音) and headlight flashes from moving cars. As this could cause disturbances to daily life such as insomnia, homeowners are advised to install a blind or curtains.

When choosing your ideal fengshui home, take note of stacks that are facing or near the rubbish chutes. Even though there is a door that separates the rubbish chutes, neighbours may walk past with dripping garbage or improper waste disposal may result in residuals near your main door or lingering stench. Internal fengshui considerations

When it comes to choosing an ideal unit, keep in mind that the main orientation of a house will directly influence the overall luck of its residents. The house orientation refers to the facing of your house, which can typically be measured from the main entrance where qi flows in.

Yishun Glade comprises four residential blocks with a total of 569 units spread across 2-room Flexi and 4-room flats. Each block is 15 storeys in height.

Based on fengshui analysis, North and South are the most auspicious directions in the Period 9 and 1 (years 2024 – 2063), and Northwest and Southeast are the second most auspicious directions. It is recommended to choose a unit that faces either of these directions or lies at the border of these directions to tap on the positive energies.
