Published: 19 Aug 2025

Launched in HDB’s July 2025 Build-To-Order (BTO) exercise, Bangkit Breeze in the popular town of Bukit Panjang is one of the new housing projects that will be available with a shorter waiting time.

In fengshui, the right timing is as important as being in the right environment with the right people. Could Bangkit Breeze be your ideal fengshui home? Read on for our in-depth fengshui review to find out!

Landform Fengshui: Bangkit Breeze in Bukit Panjang

In Singapore, the Five Dragon Landform Fengshui harnesses “hidden dragons”, which are man-made structures that channel energy flows. From the lens of fengshui, roads act as “dragon veins,” skyscrapers as “mountain dragons” offering stability, and waterways serve as wealth-attracting “water dragons.”

The five auspicious dragons, namely Eastern, Western, Southern, Northern, and Central, along with the Singapore and Kallang Rivers, converge to drive the city’s growth and prosperity, with each dragon influencing a region’s success.

Sitting adjacent to Zhenghua Nature Park along Bukit Panjang Ring Road, Bangkit Breeze sits near the tail of the Central Dragon, aka the Affluence Dragon. The dragon’s tail represents stability and gradual growth (rather than explosive success like the dragon’s head). Hence, residents here must be patient and adaptable in order to thrive over time.

Fengshui Formation: Bangkit Breeze in Bukit Panjang

Located in Bukit Panjang, Bangkit Breeze is part of the fengshui land formation of “General’s Desk”, which identified the presence of a well-skilled general in this town.

The area near the hill is designated as the desk while the hill represents the general’s flag. Further down near Bukit Panjang Road stands blocks of flats that strategically formed a fort. With its pleasant climate and environment, this precinct is an ideal place for nurturing the next generation.

Under the influence of the righteous general, most residents are honest and down-to-earth. Nevertheless, it is advisable to take note of one’s temper and avoid being too stubborn.

Exterior fengshui considerations

As one’s external environment accounts for more than interior considerations, it is important to consider features of the surrounding space when selecting a new home.

Named for its proximity to Bangkit LRT station and the adjacent Zhenghua Nature Park, Bangkit Breeze spells convenience with a range of amenities that include an eating house, shops, a minimart, a preschool, and a residents’ network centre!

Sitting next to Beacon Primary School, this new BTO project is suitable for families with school-age children. In fact, stack 560, 562, 564, and 566 face the school, literally allowing family members to “keep an eye” on their little ones. Despite the convenience, residents should be prepared for greater noises and heavier traffic during peak hours, especially with its proximity to Bangkit LRT station, and the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE).

While there seems to be sufficient buffer between the Bangkit Breeze and BKE with Zhenghua Nature Park in the middle, stacks 504, 540, and 576 have their living room and bedroom units facing the expressway. These units may be subjected to constant vehicle movements that indicate Sound Sha [声煞] and Light Sha [光煞]. These disturbances could affect daily life, leading to insomnia. Homeowners may consider installing sound-proof windows or curtains and blinds for a more conducive space.

Potential homebuyers looking for lower floor units should also take note that the MSCP at Bangkit Breeze is 7-storey tall. While the buildings seem to be sufficiently spaced on the site plan, lower floor units at stacks 524, 526, 528, and 530 face the MSCP directly. As such, residents might also be affected by conflicting forces (煞气) such as noise pollution (噪音) and headlight flashes from moving cars.

Last but not least, a couple of sites along Bukit Panjang Ring Road across  Bangkit Breeze are reserved for future high-rise developments. This indicates potential conflict points, as well as pollution and negative energies (Sha Qi) during the construction period. If required, always consult a professional fengshui practitioner to keep your home fengshui optimised at all periods.

Internal fengshui considerations

When it comes to choosing an ideal unit, keep in mind that the main orientation of a house will directly influence the overall luck of its residents. The house orientation refers to the facing of your house, which can typically be measured from the main entrance where qi flows in.

Bangkit Breeze comprises 6 residential blocks each standing at 13 storeys high. This BTO project offers 643 units of 2-room Flexi, 3-room, 4-room, and 5-room flats.

Based on fengshui analysis, North and South are the most auspicious directions in the Period 9 and 1 (years 2024 – 2063), and Northwest and Southeast are the second most auspicious directions. It is recommended to choose a unit that faces either of these directions or lies at the border of these directions to tap on the positive energies.

We have categorised the units at Bangkit Breeze under the Period 9 Auspicious Home Ranking chart, as listed below.

Most units at Bangkit Breeze face the most auspicious directions of the current fengshui period, but some face the less favourable East or West. While there is no fixed lucky direction that caters to everyone, you may like to leave it to the professionals if you are unsure of which units to choose.

Way Fengshui provides end-to-end fengshui services from selecting an ideal unit to helping you create a harmonious environment in your new home.

Did you know?

Period 9, which corresponds with the South, represents a strong Fire element. Hence, it is crucial to locate important spaces within your premises. For example, it is best to make adjustments if your stove (also of fire element) is facing South, otherwise too much fire energy can cause instability and burnout for members in the household.

In fengshui, the stove represents “the female owner of the house”. As such, the state of the stove in your house represents the condition of your mother or wife. So, if your stove happens to face South, you are highly recommended to consult a professional fengshui master for appropriate fengshui measures.
