Ulu Pandan Vista: Landform fengshui

Bounded by Commonwealth Ave West and the Ulu Pandan Park Connector, Ulu Pandan Vista is part of the Health District @ Queenstown, and a stone’s throw away from Ulu Pandan Banks.
From a fengshui viewpoint, Ulu Pandan Vista sits on the Western Dragon and belongs to the unique fengshui land formation of “Combination of Four Animals”, which spans across Holland Road, Kent Ridge, South Buona Vista Road and Haw Par Villa.
Ulu Pandan Vista resides within the auspicious landform at Holland Road, which exhibits traits of an eagle, soaring with its spread wings and creating the “Flying Eagle Diving for Food” formation. Residents who live in this area are likely to receive aid from many foreign friends when they are in need. This area is also advantageous for those who work in the political or military field.
Internal fengshui considerations

When it comes to choosing an ideal unit, keep in mind that the main orientation of a house will directly influence the overall luck of its residents. The house orientation refers to the facing of your house, which can typically be measured from the main entrance where qi flows in.
Ulu Pandan Vista comprises 3 residential blocks ranging from 34 to 45 storeys, and offers 890 units of 3- and 4-room flats.
Based on fengshui analysis, North and South are the most auspicious directions in the upcoming Period 9 and 1 (years 2024 – 2063), and Northwest and Southeast are the second most auspicious directions. It is recommended to choose a unit that faces either of these directions or lies at the border of these directions to tap on the positive energies.
We have categorised the units at Ulu Pandan Vista under the Period 9 Auspicious Home Ranking chart, as listed below.
Note that there is no fixed lucky direction that caters to everyone. If in doubt, you may like to leave it to the professionals. Way Fengshui provides end-to-end fengshui services from selecting an ideal unit to helping you create a harmonious environment in your new home.
The majority of units at Ulu Pandan Vista face a favourable direction in the coming Period 9. However, those who are choosing stack 413, 415, 417 and 419 may want to consider a fengshui consultation as your unit faces the least favourable direction.
External fengshui considerations
As one’s external environment accounts for more than interior considerations, it is important to consider features of the surrounding space when selecting a new home.
The name ‘Ulu Pandan Vista’ embodies the lush greenery offered by the surrounding landscape and the Ulu Pandan Park Connector that residents can enjoy. With one side of the BTO estate facing the park and Ulu Pandan Canal, higher floor units will overlook the Holland landed enclave, with some being able to catch unblocked views of the Central Catchment Nature Reserve. In fengshui, unblocked views are favoured as it represents the Red Phoenix, symbolising aspirations and a bright future.
Located right in front of the Dover MRT station, Ulu Pandan Vista offers easy accessibility in terms of public transport. However, its proximity to the MRT train station and Singapore Polytechnic (just across the road) means higher human traffic and noises, especially during peak hours. Commonwealth Avenue West is usually very congested during peak hours too. Those who value peace and quiet should consider higher floor units or those at the inner stacks or those along Ulu Pandan Canal.
If inevitable, you may want to consider implementing soundproofing solutions or install a blind to block out some light and noise pollution. If in doubt, you may want to consult a professional fengshui practitioner.
While multi-storey car parks (MSCP) usually indicate potential fengshui conflicting forces (煞气) such as noise pollution (噪音) and headlight flashes from moving cars, the 5-storey MSCP at Ulu Pandan Vista is thoughtfully located near but not facing any of the blocks directly.
Did you know?
Period 9 corresponds with the South, representing a strong Fire element. As such, one should be mindful of locating important spaces within your premises. For example, it is best to make adjustments if your stove (also of fire element) is facing South, otherwise too much fire energy can cause instability and burnout for members in the household.
In fengshui, the stove represents “the female owner of the house”. As such, the state of the stove in your house represents the condition of your mother or wife. If your stove happens to face South, you are highly recommended to consult a professional fengshui master for appropriate fengshui measures.
As for those who are planning to conduct home renovation or move in, don’t forget to choose an auspicious date before you proceed. The information is readily available at the Way Almanac App free for all to download!
