Jurong East Breeze: Landform fengshui
Located along the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) and Jurong East Central, Jurong East Breeze sits on the Western Dragon and belongs to the fengshui formation of “Land of the Flower Basket”.
There are also a pair of “Golden Boy and Jade Girl” located respectively at Jurong East and Jurong West. Hence, long-time residents in Jurong tend to possess good looks and great talents. They would also be equipped with capabilities and growing wealth.
As Jurong, especially Jurong East, favours innovative and creative industries, those who are working in creative-related businesses and educational institutions will do well here. Families and singles looking to strive in their career, especially females, can also consider this area.
Romance luck abounds in Jurong and singles can look forward to finding their ideal partners. Nonetheless, caution is needed to avoid love tragedies. In particular, married people must practise faithfulness, or one will share the same fate as the golden boy and jade girl who remain separated.
Internal fengshui considerations
When it comes to choosing an ideal unit, keep in mind that the main orientation of a house will directly influence the overall luck of its residents. The house orientation refers to the facing of your house, which can be measured from the main entrance where qi flows in.
Jurong East Breeze offers two residential blocks of 562 units in total, with 223 2-Room Flexi, 87 3-room and 252 4-room units, ranging from 22 to 38 storeys.
Based on fengshui analysis, North and South are the most auspicious directions in the upcoming Periods 9 and 1 (years 2024 – 2063), and Northwest and Southeast are the second most auspicious directions.
There are limited north- and south-facing units at Jurong East Breeze, as listed below. Don’t get discouraged if you can’t get these recommended units due to your queue number. Exterior fengshui considerations
As one’s external environment accounts for more than interior considerations, it is important to consider features of the surrounding space when selecting a new home.
Although Jurong East Breeze is located in a non-mature town (nearer to Toh Guan industrial estate), the upcoming BTO development will be surrounded by many high-rise buildings such as the existing public housing. The more crowded housing environment indicates blockage unless one gets the higher floor; i.e. 22 to 38 storeys.
Another thing to note would be a potential risk of conflicts such as Tian Zhan Sha (天斩煞, home’s frontage facing an opening between two or more building structures that funnel negative energies), corner Sha (角煞) where sharp corners present hidden threats, etc. If in doubt, consider seeking advice from a professional fengshui practitioner.
Along the north and east side of Jurong East Breeze BTO lies the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) and the upcoming Jurong Regional Line (JRL) track. If you are concerned about noise and light pollution, you may want to avoid stacks 783, 785, 773, 771, 765 and 767.
Other stacks that are likely to encounter more disturbances include 783 and 785, which are facing the 6-storey MSCP with two roof gardens. In addition, stacks 781 and 783 are directly across Crest Secondary School, and noises are expected during active school hours. To reduce noise disturbances from the external environment, sound insulation could be an option.
