Launched in HDB’s October 2024 Build-To-Order (BTO) exercise, Fernvale Sails is one of the two BTO projects in the increasingly popular Sengkang town that have seen million-dollar resale flat transactions. This new BTO project comes with its own supermarket, F&B outlets amongst other amenities.

This self-sufficient BTO development features various amenities and facilities such as a supermarket, F&B outlets, a preschool, residents’ network centre, and an Active Ageing Centre (Care) within the project.
From the site plan, some units are located near to the lift, which could pose unstable magnetic fields at home, leading to household disharmony and health issues. Those planning to choose from stack 210, 212, 234, and 236 should take note. Nevertheless, there are fengshui remedies for such situations.
In addition, stack 208, 212, 210, 234, 236, and 238 are in close proximity to the centralised refuse chute. These stacks are not recommended as you may be affected by the rubbish stench when the wind blows, especially if rubbish is not disposed of properly. If you are selecting a unit in one of these stacks, do ensure that your front door does not face the refuse chute directly. If required, you may want to consult a professional fengshui practitioner for remedies to such a situation.
Last but not least, several stacks at Fernvale Sails are facing the 7-storey multi-storey car park (MSCP). Lower floor units (stack 204, 206, 208, 210, 212, 214, 216, 228, 230, 232, 234, 236, 238, and 240) that face the MSCP directly would most likely be affected by conflicting forces (煞气) such as noise pollution (噪音) and headlight flashes from moving cars. This could cause disturbances to daily life such as insomnia. To counter this, homeowners can consider installing a window blind or curtains.
