In fact, ironwood trees (also known as tempinis) used to grow in abundance here, and is the namesake of Tampines.

Overview of landform fengshui

Tampines GreenVerge resides on the Eastern Dragon amidst the rare fengshui formation of “Peacock Flaunting its Plume”. With its tranquil atmosphere, this area is deemed ideal for young families to settle down, as well as for senior citizens to retire. Those with bigger families can definitely benefit from the Three-Generation (3Gen) flats.
