Situated right next to the idyllic Canberra Park, Parc Life is a 99-year leasehold Executive Condominium (EC) in the north region of Singapore that is due to reach its Minimum Occupancy Period this year.

Besides its proximity to nature (usually a plus point in fengshui), let’s take a closer look to see how Parc Life EC fares in terms of landform fengshui, home orientation and other external fengshui factors that shall determine if it could be your ideal fengshui home. Read on!

Parc Life: Landform Fengshui

Located along Sembawang Crescent in District 27, Parc Life EC sits on the fengshui land formation known as “Land of Thriving Bamboos”, which promises potential for growth and success.

In the study of landform fengshui in Singapore, Sembawang sits on the tail of the Southern Dragon that favours residential and commercial developments. This neighbourhood is indeed getting more vibrant with new residential estates and malls, making it conducive for families, especially those with young kids.

In fact, we recently did a couple of fengshui reviews on The Brownstone EC and The Visionaire EC that are in this district. The key point to note, potential homeowners or residents in Sembawang can tap on the positive energies of the “Land of Thriving Bamboos”, as long as you remain down-to-earth, work hard and take all matters in stride.

Internal fengshui considerations

When it comes to choosing an ideal unit, keep in mind that the main orientation of a house will directly influence the overall luck of its residents. The house orientation refers to the facing of your house, which can be measured from the main entrance where qi flows in.

Based on fengshui analysis, North and South are the most auspicious directions in the upcoming Period 9 and Period 1 (years 2024 – 2063), and Northwest and Southeast are the second most auspicious directions.

Parc Life EC comprises a total of 628 units across 11 blocks at 15 and 16 storeys in height. Potential homeowners have a choice of two- to five-bedroom units. Most units face North and South, which is very favourable for homeowners, especially those planning to stay here in the long term. Here’s a list of the recommended units:

North facing units

Blk 21 – 02

Blk 23 – 05, 06

Blk 25 – 09, 10

Beyond the above auspicious home orientation, aspiring homeowners planning to get a resale unit at Parc Life EC are advised to select wisely. As there is no fixed lucky direction that caters to everyone, it is best to seek advice from a professional fengshui practitioner to select a unit with the optimal fengshui based on your Bazi.

Exterior fengshui considerations

As one’s external environment accounts for more than interior considerations, it is important to consider features of the surrounding space when selecting a new home.  It is always worthwhile to do a physical site visit prior to your property purchase.

While Parc Life EC may not score as well as The Visionaire or The Brownstone in terms of accessibility to public transport, it provides greater tranquillity and reduced risks of Sound Sha caused by heavy traffic flow – which is very conducive for living.

Also, the 11 blocks within the estate are well positioned with sufficient spacing that reduces the risk of common landform conflicts such as sharp corners of surrounding buildings that can create oppression or other negative impacts.

On the other hand, do note that Parc Life EC is located right next to Skypark Residences – an EC of a similar height. The proximity of the two developments need to be further evaluated, especially for those aiming a unit in the  outer stacks of Block 25, 29 and 33.

In addition to having a park right next to Parc Life EC, the swimming pool is well-positioned to garner positive energies and ensure a smooth flow of qi within the environment. In fengshui terms, the water element represents good fortune and abundance in all areas, so this is yet another plus point.

Did you know?

The Kun sector, located in the Southwest of your home, is one area that you should not overlook! It represents the mother (matriarch energy), which denotes empathy, harmony and relationships.

The main element of this area is Earth, hence water features are recommended here. To ensure good health and stable emotions, plants should not be placed in this area. Also, this is a sector that should not be in the kitchen, toilet or storeroom.

For those who are scratching your head over where the Southwest sector in your home is, don’t worry! You are just a step from improving your home fengshui and luck. Read this to locate the sectors within your living space.
