Fengshui Review: The Tampines Trilliant

The Tampines Trilliant

Everyone has their own definition of an “ideal home”. Generally, most people would like their home to be highly accessible and preferably near a childcare centre, (renowned) school, hospital, shopping mall etc.

In Singapore, it’s not hard to find a home that fits the above requirements. The newly completed EC, The Tampines Trilliant, fits the bill totally. Being located in a mature estate, a comprehensive range of public facilities are available. This development also gives young married couples the option of staying near their parents.

But, in terms of feng shui, what exactly is an “ideal home”? Before penning this article, I’ve done feng shui audit for several units at The Tampines Trilliant. And the foremost factor in residential feng shui is the facing direction of the house. At this new EC, we have block 15 and 17 facing the Northeast and Southwest – auspicious directions in Period 8 (year 2004 – 2023). But, though favourable, the positive feng shui benefits shall diminish when Period 8 comes to an end. Hence, long-term residing is not advisable for these two blocks. When the time comes, one can consider putting their unit up for sale or rental.

If you really like the environment here and plan to stay long, do select a unit that faces the North or South – auspicious directions in Period 9 (year 2024 – 2043). Consider the following blocks:

  • Block 23
  • Block 25
  • Block 27
  • Block 29
  • Block 31
  • Block 32

If you have already purchased a unit among the blocks listed above, congratulations to you! Nonetheless, it is essential to note the stove position in your kitchen. A South-facing stove can cast a negative impact on the female owner’s health.

In addition, block 11 and 13 are recommended for long-term residing too. With Southeast and Northwest as their facing directions, the feng shui of these blocks are considered above average and shall enjoy stable luck. However, the sunlight at dusk could be a concern for some.

Overall, the units at The Tampines Trilliant are all square-shaped without the problem of “missing corners”. Also, there are no significant clashes in the surroundings. With the many positive factors mentioned, this new EC is indeed an “ideal home” to stay at!
