Teban Breeze: Landform fengshui

Bordered by Jurong Town Hall Road and Teban Gardens Road, Teban Breeze is conveniently located near Jurong East and Clementi. This upcoming BTO resides on the Western Dragon amidst the fengshui formation of “Two Imps Stealing Gold”. Here, it is natural for residents to be blessed with good fortune and high chances of receiving windfalls.
However, the imps that bring the gold also have the tendency of taking it away. Hence, those who reside here are likely to experience wealth fluctuations. You need to guard your wealth well, otherwise all will be lost. To accumulate wealth, work hard instead of having unrealistic desires for windfalls.
On a more positive note, small business owners will still be able to accumulate modest wealth. With the help of home fengshui, wealth and windfall luck can be further enhanced. As this district is nearer to the sea, the humidity level is higher and could easily induce rheumatism and colds. Proper ventilation is necessary in the home, otherwise one may be rich but suffer from poor health.
Internal fengshui considerations

When it comes to choosing an ideal unit, keep in mind that the main orientation of a house will directly influence the overall luck of its residents. The house orientation refers to the facing of your house, which can typically be measured from the main entrance where qi flows in.
Teban Breeze comprises 4 residential blocks ranging from 37 to 40 storeys tall. In total, there are 1,086 units of 2-room Flexi, 3-, 4-, and 5-room flats.
Based on fengshui analysis, North and South are the most auspicious directions in the Period 9 and 1 (years 2024 – 2063), and Northwest and Southeast are the second most auspicious directions. It is recommended to choose a unit that faces either of these directions or lies at the border of these directions to tap on the positive energies.
We have categorised the units at Teban Breeze under the Period 9 Auspicious Home Ranking chart, as listed below.

Note: There is no fixed lucky direction that caters to everyone. If in doubt, you may like to leave it to the professionals. Way Fengshui provides end-to-end fengshui services from selecting an ideal unit to helping you create a harmonious environment in your new home.
This is especially if your unit is facing a less favourable direction, i.e. East or West. If in doubt, do consider getting a reliable fengshui consultation to ensure that you select a suitable unit so your household can thrive in Period 9.
External fengshui considerations
As one’s external environment accounts for more than interior considerations, it is important to consider features of the surrounding space when selecting a new home.
Located near two neighbourhood centres, Teban Breeze is situated near many amenities, spelling convenience for residents in an idyllic environment. Designed around a central open space, this BTO project is a stone’s throw away from Pandan Reservoir. However, convenience often comes at a cost, where a more crowded housing environment can imply potential Sha (conflict points).
Some surrounding sites of this upcoming BTO project have been reserved for the development of high-rise residential buildings. Potential homeowners may want to take into consideration the development period, which will produce construction noises and conflicting energies (冲煞).
High-rise buildings in proximity also present a potential risk of conflicts such as Tian Zhan Sha (home’s frontage facing an opening between two or more building structures that funnel negative energies), corner Sha (角煞) where sharp corners present hidden threats or oppression, etc. When choosing your ideal fengshui unit, it may be worth considering the inner stacks of Teban Breeze.
Also, Stack 907, 913, 933 and 957 are in close proximity to the centralised refuse chute. These stacks are not recommended as you may be affected by the rubbish stench when the wind blows, especially if rubbish is not disposed of properly. If you are selecting a unit in one of these stacks, you must ensure that your front door does not face the refuse chute directly. If required, you may want to consult a professional fengshui practitioner for remedies to such a situation.
While there seems to be sufficient buffer between the residential areas and nearby Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE), stacks 913, 915 and 917 have bedroom units and balconies facing the expressway. In particular, units on mid to higher floors may be subjected to constant vehicle movements that indicate Sound Sha [声煞] and Light Sha [光煞]. These could cause disturbances to daily life such as insomnia.
Stacks located along Jurong Town Hall Road may also encounter greater noises and heavier traffic during peak hours as Commonwealth Secondary School is just around the corner. Homeowners may consider installing sound-proof windows or curtains and blinds for a more conducive space.
Did you know?
Some people think that it is a fengshui taboo if their windows in the living area are bigger than their main entrance. In fact, these home configurations are increasingly common in new estates.
Before you start worrying, here’s the good news: while it is not recommended for homes in countries with four distinct seasons, having bigger windows in our tropical climate means better indoor ventilation, which is favourable!
However, it is best to avoid having the big window facing the main door directly. If they are directly aligned, the ability to accumulate wealth luck will be diminished as energy flows in and out easily.
If the features are fixed, you can remedy the situation by installing a room divider or avoid opening both the window and door at the same time. Displaying some plants at the window or having curtains or blinds can help too.
Also, did you know that Period 9 is influenced by a wealth star, indicating growing fortune and propitiousness? If your home faces North or South – the most auspicious directions in this fengshui period, consider seeking a fengshui consultation for your home renovation so you and your household members can better grasp opportunities as well as create wealth.
