Landform Fengshui: Pine Vista in District 14

In Singapore, the Five Dragon Landform Fengshui harnesses “hidden dragons”, which are man-made structures that channel energy flows. From the lens of fengshui, roads act as “dragon veins,” skyscrapers as “mountain dragons” offering stability, and waterways serve as wealth-attracting “water dragons.”

The five auspicious dragons, namely Eastern, Western, Southern, Northern, and Central, along with the Singapore and Kallang Rivers, converge to drive the city’s growth and prosperity, with each dragon influencing a region’s success.

Fengshui Formation: Pine Vista in District 14

Located at the junction of Cassia Link and Pine Lane, Pine Vista near the stable torso of the Eastern Dragon in Singapore’s District 14 in the precinct of Geylang. This indicates stable qi flow, which is ideal for long-term residence or business.

This soon to MOP-ed development is near the fengshui formation called “Water Centipede”. With a “spilt personality”, this water centipede consists of two sections.

The top half (from Kallang River to Lorong 37) is characterised by the Water element, which favours businesses. The lower half (from Lorong 37 to Geylang Serai) is dominated by the Earth element, hence is good for residences and proper businesses. The water centipede is a nocturnal creature, which explains the prevalence of nightspots in Geylang.

Exterior fengshui considerations

As one’s external environment accounts for more than interior considerations, it is important to consider features of the surrounding space when selecting a resale flat.

Nestled in a mature estate with amenities like Old Airport Road Food Centre and schools nearby, Pine Vista is just a 5-minute walk to Dakota MRT station on the Circle line.

While it is located in a mature town surrounded by existing public housing, the good news is Pine Vista is surrounded by low- to mid-rise HDBs and shophouses. This means that some of the higher floor units enjoy unblocked views and better ventilation.

From the fengshui perspective, unblocked views represent the Red Phoenix, symbolising aspirations and a bright future. Such smooth flow of energy in the absence of points of conflict (sha) is essential.

Having said that, residents or aspiring resale homebuyers of Pine Vista should take note of the surrounding sites reserved for high-rise residential developments, as this means future blockage or potential conflict points. Remember to take measures against pollution and negative energies (Sha Qi) during the construction period too. If in doubt, don’t hesitate to consult a professional  fengshui  practitioner.

The MSCP at Pine Vista stands at 4 storeys in height. Lower floor units at stacks 24, 26, 28, and 30 are near/face the MSCP directly. Residents must beware of conflicting forces (煞气) such as noise pollution (噪音) and headlight flashes from moving cars, which could affect daily life.

Last but not least, cross-junction roads are potential landform obstructions that could bring Sha. However, there’s no need to worry about the cross junction between Cassia Line and Pine Lane if your home is located on a higher floor. With the ground level being used for amenities and facilities, residents at Pine Vista will not be affected.

Internal fengshui considerations

Homeowners should bear in mind the main orientation of your house, as it will directly influence the overall luck of your household member(s). The house orientation refers to the facing of your house, which can be measured from the main entrance where qi flows in.

Tip: Did you know a physical Luopan (fengshui compass) is much more sensitive to the Qi, energy of the house than a digital compass? You can use our Free Way Almanac App to know your rough direction of your house. It is still advisable to get a professional fengshui  Master to fix your home direction.

Pine Vista comprises two 18-storey residential blocks, which house 319 units of 2-room Flexi, and 3-room flats.

Based on fengshui analysis, North and South are the most auspicious directions in Period 9 and Period 1 (years 2024 – 2063), followed by Northwest and Southeast. We have identified the Period 9 Auspicious Homes below. Do you live in any of these units?

Several stacks at Pine Vista face favourable directions in terms of home fengshui in the current Period 9. However, several stacks lie on the boundary between two directions, which are indicated with warning signs. Hence, it is best to consult a professional  fengshui  consultation for clarity.

Additionally, if your main door faces your neighbour’s main door directly, conflicting energies between both households may arise and affect harmony. As such, homeowners are recommended to place a grey arc-shaped carpet at your front door. Doing so can help you to neutralise negative energies and accumulate wealth.

Unsure about the home fengshui at  Pine Vista? It’s never too late to review your Bazi compatibility with your home for better fengshui. Be it for existing homeowners or aspiring resale homebuyers, Way Fengshui provides professional residential fengshui services with the ultimate aim of helping you to create a harmonious environment in your home.

Did you know?

A headboard represents stability and support in your life, especially your romantic relationships. Hence, a solid and smooth headboard (without perforations) made of natural materials is recommended.

It is also best to leave these electronic devices out of your bedroom or hide them as best you can. If you already want to have a television in your room, you may want to consider placing it in an armoire or cover it neatly with a cloth when not in use.

For optimal fengshui benefits, it is best to align your bed position with your Bazi needs and ensure you have a clear vantage of the doorway (while not being in direct alignment). If in doubt, consider consulting a  fengshui  practitioner for a fengshui  review.
