Landform fengshui: ParkView @ Bidadari in District 13
In Singapore, the Five Dragon Landform Fengshui harnesses “hidden dragons”, which are man-made structures that channel energy flows. From the lens of fengshui, roads act as “dragon veins,” skyscrapers as “mountain dragons” offering stability, and waterways serve as wealth-attracting “water dragons.”
The five auspicious dragons, namely Eastern, Western, Southern, Northern, and Central, along with the Singapore and Kallang Rivers, converge to drive the city’s growth and prosperity, with each dragon influencing a region’s success.
ParkView @ Bidadari is located near the tail of the Eastern Dragon — a fengshui position where dynamic, shifting energies prevail. The Dragon’s Tail symbolises transformation, movement, and the need for resilience in the face of constant change. In this lively and unpredictable zone, success favors those with an unwavering heart, adaptability, and a courageous spirit. While the energy may be less stable, it offers abundant opportunities for growth, innovation, and breakthroughs for those willing to embrace change. ParkView @ Bidadari provides a vibrant and inspiring environment for individuals ready to forge their own path and turn challenges into stepping stones toward lasting success.
Fengshui Formation of ParkView @ Bidadari
Bounded by Upper Aljunied Road, Sang Nila Utama Road, and Bidadari Park, ParkView @ Bidadari is in Singapore’s district 13. This recently TOP housing project resides on the Eastern Dragon, representative of the Wood element.
From a fengshui perspective, ParkView @ Bidadari is part of the “Transporting Cart of Gold and Jade” formation. This is a propitious land that is suitable for industries such as commerce, finance, accounting, investments, etc.
To improve or retain wealth luck, those who are living or doing businesses here are recommended to conduct renovation or a revamp from time to time. Due to the high humidity here, designs related to “water” are strongly discouraged. Recommended colours include greyish white and yellow. Interestingly, the facade colours of ParkView @ Bidadari are grey and white, so that’s a tick for fengshui!
Exterior fengshui considerations

As one’s external environment accounts for more than interior considerations, it is important to consider features of the surrounding space when selecting a new home.
Located a stone’s throw from the underground Woodleigh MRT station and Woodleigh Mall, ParkView @ Bidadari offers convenience and easy accessibility to amenities without compromising on privacy and peace.
Notably, the HDB blocks are designed to provide open views of the surrounding area, including the Bidadari Park and Alkaff Lake. In landscape fengshui, unblocked views are favoured as it represents the Red Phoenix, symbolising aspirations and a bright future. Such smooth flow of energy in the absence of points of conflict (sha) is essential.
Also, a household is considered auspicious and blessed with prosperity and abundance if you can see flowing water from your living room, especially if there is a large door or window that allows an inflow of energy from the river across your home.
However, it is essential to assess the direction of the water flow to ascertain whether having a view of flowing water will positively influence your household. If your unit faces the Alkaff Lake, consider consulting a professional fengshui practitioner for clarity.
Being part of the Park’s Edge Neighbourhood, ParkView @ Bidadari also incorporates biophilic design principles, blending urban living with nature. Residents can enjoy roof gardens, landscaped communal spaces, and proximity to the Bidadari Heritage Trail. Nevertheless, be mindful if your unit is close to trees and plants.
While plants may be a symbol of vitality and growth, it can introduce unwanted pests into our homes if they are too close to entrances. Besides that, trees can also deflect incoming auspicious energies.
Opposite ParkView @ Bidadari lies a reserved site designated for a high-rise nursing home and polyclinic. Like hospitals, these facilities are considered “yin” in nature, and their presence may evoke discomfort for some individuals, potentially contributing to physical and mental fatigue over time. However, residents can take comfort in the fact that the Multi-Storey Car Park (MSCP) serves as a buffer, effectively separating the medical establishments from the residential blocks, minimising any direct impact.
Regarding the cross-junction between Upper Aljunied Road and Sang Nila Utama Road, it’s true that cross-junctions can serve as potential landform obstructions, which may introduce Sha Qi. However, homes situated on higher floors are generally not impacted. In addition, the MSCP serves as a buffer between the cross-junction and the lower-floor units in Block 233C, ensuring there’s no cause for concern.
On the other hand, lower floor units (below 6 storeys) that are facing the MSCP directly should be mindful of light and noise pollution, particularly stack 137 and 151. Excessive Light Sha and Sound Sha can increase stress and blood pressure levels. Worse still, it can even lead to insomnia.
Last but not least, ongoing construction in the developing Bidadari estate calls for residents to monitor the surroundings of your new home at ParkView @ Bidadari. Stay mindful of developments surrounding your home, as this indicates potential conflict points, as well as pollution and negative energies (Sha Qi) during the construction period. If you encounter any issues, don’t hesitate to consult a professional fengshui practitioner.
Internal fengshui considerations
Homeowners should bear in mind the main orientation of your house, as it will directly influence the overall luck of your household member(s). The house orientation refers to the facing of your house, which can be measured from the main entrance where qi flows in.
Tip: Did you know a physical Luopan (fengshui compass) is much more sensitive to the Qi, energy of the house than an digital compass? You can use our Free Way Almanac App to know your rough direction of your house. It is still advisable to get a professional fengshui Master to fix your home direction.

ParkView @ Bidadari comprises three residential blocks with 358 units of 3- and 4-room flats in total. The blocks range from 10 to 16-storeys in height.
Based on fengshui analysis, North and South are the most auspicious directions in the current Period 9 and Period 1 (years 2024 – 2063), followed by Northwest and Southeast. We have categorised the units under the Period 9 Auspicious Home Ranking chart, as listed below.
Several units at ParkView @ Bidadari face the most auspicious directions in the current fengshui period. With appropriate fengshui measures, you can optimise your household luck to thrive further, especially if your home is North- or South-facing.
However, take note that several stacks lie on the boundary between two directions. These are indicated with the ⚠️ sign. If your unit falls into this category, do consider a professional fengshui consultation for guidance.
Also, units located near the lift are likely to encounter unstable magnetic fields at home, which could lead to household disharmony and health issues. Thankfully, there are fengshui remedies for such situations.
As for units with main doors that face each other, be mindful of conflicting energies. If your main door faces your neighbour’s main door directly, you should consult a professional fengshui practitioner to minimise the negative impacts.
Did you know?
Money is not everything, but without it, you can hardly do anything. For those who are focused on building your wealth, you may want to be more mindful of your wealth position, as well as the shoe shelf, in your home.
The wealth position refers to a place where wealth accumulates. Hence, the space surrounding your wealth position must be kept clean and tidy. There should not be clutter, electrical appliances or sharp objects around or at your wealth position.
There is heavy Sha (煞气) aka negative energies where the shoe shelf is located. Hence, your wealth luck will be affected if your shoe shelf directly faces your wealth position. Some people unknowingly positioned their shoe shelf at their wealth position. When this happens, their wealth is likely to disperse and one may find that it is difficult to accumulate wealth. Should this happen, it is best to shift the shoe shelf or avoid placing shoes within the rack.
For the uninitiated, the fengshui Period 9 is influenced by a wealth star, indicating growing fortune and propitiousness. However, the Fire element influencing this current period can be unstable. If you are planning to conduct home renovation to tap on the benefitting energies of Period 9, do get in touch for a fengshui consultation.
