Feb 2022 BTO: Plantation Creek Fengshui Unit Review

Source: HDB

Revolving around nature and the community, Tengah has been garnering popularity with potential homeowners looking for a home in the West. In this article, we will take an in-depth fengshui review on Plantation Creek – one of the two new Tengah housing projects launched in HDB’s February 2022 Build-To-Order (BTO) exercise

The name ‘Plantation Creek’ is inspired by its location along the waterway leading to the nearby Tengah Pond. In this BTO estate, one can expect water motifs throughout its design, as well as  abstract wave forms on the building façade and wave swirls in the landscape design.

Food for thought: With water being the symbol of wealth in fengshui, would residents staying in Plantation Creek have a higher chance of striking it rich? Read on to find out!

Plantation Creek: Landform fengshui

Located in Tengah Plantation district, Plantation Creek will be bounded by Tengah Garden Avenue and Tengah Boulevard. The estate sits on the Western Dragon, and belongs to the fengshui formation of “Land of the Flower Basket”. It is believed that long-time residents in Jurong tend to possess good looks and great talents too. They are often equipped with capabilities and growing wealth.

In terms of development, Jurong is favourable for innovative and creative industries. Those who are working in creative-related businesses and educational institutions will do well here. Families and singles looking to strive in their career, especially females, can also consider this area.

Internal fengshui considerations

When it comes to choosing an ideal unit, keep in mind that the main orientation of a house will directly influence the overall luck of its residents. The house orientation refers to the facing of your house, which can be measured from the main entrance where qi flows in.

At Plantation Creek, there are 6 residential blocks ranging from 15 to 16 storeys, with a total of 713 units of 4- and 5-room flats. You may have heard that North and South are the most auspicious directions in the upcoming Periods 9 and 1 (years 2024 – 2063), and Northwest is the second most auspicious direction.

Although the majority of the units at Plantation Creek are Northeast and Southwest facing, which are not the most ideal for Period 9, there are some North/South and Northwest-facing units that you may consider. Here’s what we recommend:

North/South facing units (1st choice)

Blk 134A – 301/303/305/307

Blk 134D – 345/347/349/351

Blk 135B – 383/385/387/389

Northwest facing units 2nd choice)

Blk 134B – 323/325

Blk 134C – 335/337

It is important to note that there is no fixed lucky direction that caters to everyone.

Selecting a suitable flat can be a daunting task, especially if you are a first-time homeowner. When in doubt, you may like to leave it to the professionals. Way Fengshui provides end-to-end fengshui services from selecting an ideal unit to helping you create a harmonious environment in your new home.

Exterior fengshui considerations

Located along the boundary of Tengah and Jurong, residents of Plantation Creek are likely to have easy access to the amenities of Jurong. Nonetheless, its location by the Pan-island expressway (PIE) also calls for concern with regards to noise and light pollution.

For those seeking peace and quiet, you may want to consider stacks that are away from the main roads, amenities, car parks and zones where there are high levels of human activities.

Some stacks such as 361, 363, 379, 381, 395 and 397 face the future Tengah Pond, promising waterfront views if you are located above the 6-storey car park. Potential homeowners may note that these stacks also face the PIE.

However, the blocks at Plantation Creek will be built further inwards, with Tengah Pond and the car park serving as a buffer, so there’s not much cause for worries. Installing a window blind or applying an additional layer of sound absorption paint can also help to reduce external noise.

With Tengah being slated to develop rapidly within the next two decades, one should also take note of future developments surrounding your home, especially for those located along the future roads, Tengah Boulevard and Tengah Garden Avenue.

High-rise buildings in proximity present a potential risk of conflicts such as Tian Zhan Sha (home’s frontage facing an opening between two or more building structures that funnel negative energies), corner Sha (角煞) where sharp corners present hidden threats, etc.

Did you know?

From the fengshui aspect, the higher you are staying, there’s a lesser chance of encountering certain fengshui conflicts. For example, premises at higher levels would not have the problem of facing multi-storey car parks – typically 5 or 6 storeys high – which may bring forth disturbance and negative energies. T-junction roads are one of the common landform obstructions that could bring Sha Qi, but one would not be affected if your home is located on a higher floor.

A building’s height is an important consideration when selecting an ideal property. Opting for apartments on higher floors helps to reduce the likelihood of encountering negative forces. Nevertheless, do note that there are challenges to accumulating auspicious energies.

Also, moderation is key. This applies to all aspects including the Five Elements. Although water is a symbol of wealth, having too much of the water element may lead to lethargy, isolation, weight gain, etc. It is important to strike a balance of the Five Elements, while taking into consideration the bazi of the homeowners in order to optimise harmonious energy in your space.

Which fengshui BTO units to choose in Plantation Creek?

The convenience of Plantation Creek in proximity to nature, nearby schools and surrounding amenities is pretty attractive, but with limited units facing auspicious directions in the coming Period – one needs to choose your home unit wisely.

It is important to select a unit that is auspicious in the reigning luck cycle and suitable for your bazi. Selecting a fengshui unit can also help you to create a harmonious home, improve mood and energy, and attract opportunities and benefactors.

So, wait no further! Our masters will evaluate your units based on a four-point method, analysing the luck cycle, direction, bazi suitability and missing sector to make your fengshui selection unit a breeze. Learn more here.
