Feb 2022 BTO: Parc Flora @ Tengah Fengshui Unit Review
Source: HDB
Parc Flora @ Tengah is one of the two upcoming new housing projects located in the non-mature town of Tengah, recently launched in HDB’s February 2022 Build-To-Order (BTO) exercise. In spite of it being in a brand new town, Tengah’s key features revolve around nature and the community, garnering popularity with potential homeowners.
Is Tengah really as good as the plan seems? Manifesting good home fengshui requires in-depth analyses and corresponding measures to ensure harmony between your living spaces and the environment. Let us start off by looking at the landform fengshui of Parc Flora @ Tengah.
Parc Flora @ Tengah: Landform fengshui
Located in Tengah Park district, Parc Flora @ Tengah sits on the Western Dragon. It belongs to the fengshui formation of “Land of the Flower Basket”.
In general, Jurong is favourable for innovative and creative industries. Those who are working in creative-related businesses and educational institutions will do well here. Families and singles looking to strive in their career, especially females, can also consider this area.
Interestingly, long-time residents in Jurong tend to possess good looks and great talents too. They are often equipped with capabilities and growing wealth.
Internal fengshui considerations
Parc Flora @ Tengah comprises 4 residential blocks ranging from 12 to 14 storeys. There are 560 units of 2-Room Flexi, 3-, 4-, and 5-room flats.
As North and South are auspicious directions in the upcoming Period 9 and Period 1 (year 2024 – 2063), it is recommended to choose a unit that faces either of these directions or lies at the border of these directions to tap on the positive energies. The following list shows the recommended blocks and units for reference:
North facing units
Blk 325A – 556/558/560/566
Blk 325B – 578/580/582/584/586
South facing units
Blk 325A – 546/548/550/552/554
Blk 325B – 568/570/588/590
Note: It could be daunting to select a suitable flat, especially if you are a first-time homeowner. If in doubt, you may like to leave it to the professionals. Way Fengshui provides end-to-end fengshui services from selecting an ideal unit to helping you create a harmonious environment in your new home.

Exterior fengshui considerations
Based on the site plan, Parc Flora @ Tengah is located conveniently to the town centre – meaning easy accessibility to amenities. However, one should take note that it is going to be more crowded with greater noise activities.
As Parc Flora @ Tengah will be surrounded by high-rise residential buildings, those who are staying at the outlying blocks need to be mindful of potential corner conflicts (角煞) from nearby buildings.
The Tengah Boulevard Bus Interchange (along Tengah Park Avenue) will also be just down the road from Parc Flora. in spite of its proximity, one need not worry of negative impacts as there’s a common green and multi-storey carpark as a buffer.
Lower floor units of stacks that will be located near/ directly face the 6-storey car park at Blk 325 (i.e. 554, 556) may be subject to Sound Sha [声煞] and Light Sha [光煞], which could cause disturbances to daily life such as insomnia. For those who choose a unit that faces the car park, please consider installing a window blind.
Did you know?
Some people think that it is a fengshui taboo if their windows in the living area are bigger than their main entrance. In fact, these home configurations are increasingly common in new estates. Before you start worrying, here’s the good news: while it is not recommended for homes in countries with four distinct seasons, having bigger windows in our tropical climate means better indoor ventilation, which is favourable!
However, it is best to avoid having the big window facing the main door directly. If they are directly aligned, the ability to accumulate wealth luck will be diminished as energy flows in and out easily. If the features are fixed, you can remedy the situation by installing a room divider or avoid opening both the window and door at the same time. Displaying some plants at the window or having curtains or blinds can help too.
