Where fengshui begins
Although little is known about the origins of fengshui, this ancient art has been practised by the Chinese for over 4,000 years! People in ancient China, especially the imperial family, believed that arranging properties and furnitures to create positive energies would benefit many aspects of life such as health, relationships, wealth, etc. To date, fengshui remains influential, even on our little red dot.

Way Fengshui Group’s story begins in 1984, where Grand Master Tan Khoon Yong, at a young age of 30 years old, started the fengshui consultancy firm from a small office table in Fu Lu Shou Complex, to put to practice what he had learnt from his father and grandfather. To say that he is a famous fengshui master is an understatement.
He was the first fengshui master in Singapore to be awarded the prestigious title of “Feng Shui Grand Master” by the International Feng Shui Association. Subsequently, his son, Master Mark Tan, took over as Chief Operating Officer (CEO) of Way Fengshui Group and modernised the business since 2015.

From organising the first geomancy exhibition in Singapore to establishing a (non-profit) gallery that exhibits fengshui instruments, Way Fengshui Group has always been at the forefront to create awareness and foster greater understanding of the ancient knowledge that has been carelessly misrepresented and misconstrued over the years.

Our founder and CEO’s affinity with fengshui goes beyond the past 2 generations. As descendants of one of the most outstanding military strategists and astrologers in Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), their knowledge of fengshui were passed through generations, ensuring a deep and authentic understanding of fengshui principles and using advance fengshui techniques.
