TOP Fengshui POV: Plantation Creek in Tengah (D24)

Published: 26 Jun 2026
In fengshui, water symbolises wealth. So when a development sits beside a waterway and wraps its entire design language around water motifs, that’s worth examining closely.
Plantation Creek fronts the channel leading to Tengah Pond in Tengah, and takes its water theme seriously: wave forms on the façades, wave swirls in the landscaping, water motifs throughout. Launched in HDB’s February 2022 BTO exercise, this estate has recently achieved its Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP). Congratulations to residents who have collected your keys!
Before starting renovation, you may want to take a closer look at what the fengshui actually says. Read on for our in-depth fengshui review on Plantation Creek.
Landform fengshui: Plantation Creek in District 24 (D24)

In Singapore, the Five Dragon Landform Fengshui harnesses “hidden dragons”, which are man-made structures that channel energy flow. From the lens of fengshui, roads act as “dragon veins”, skyscrapers as “mountain dragons” offering stability and waterways serve as wealth-attracting “water dragons”.
The five auspicious dragons, namely Eastern, Western, Southern, Northern and Central, along with the Singapore and Kallang Rivers, converge to drive the city’s growth and prosperity, with each dragon influencing a region’s success.
Located in Tengah’s Plantation district, Plantation Creek is bounded by Tengah Garden Avenue and Tengah Boulevard. It sits near the body of the Western Dragon, indicating stable qi flow that is ideal for long-term residence or business.

Plantation Creek’s in the Jurong West district makes it part of the fengshui formation known as “Land of the Flower Basket”. As Jurong favours innovative and creative industries, those who are working in creative-related businesses and educational institutions will do well here. This will extend to those in Tengah as well. Families and singles looking to thrive in their careers, especially females, have the potential to thrive in this area.
Nearby, the fengshui formation of a pair of “Golden Boy and Jade Girl”, located respectively at Jurong East and Jurong West, also influences those at Tengah. Potential homeowners planning to shift to this area should be aware that residents here are generally equipped with capabilities and growing wealth.
Romance luck also abounds, and singles can look forward to finding their ideal partners. Nonetheless, caution is needed to avoid love tragedies. In particular, married people must practise faithfulness, or one will share the same fate as the golden boy and jade girl who remain separated.
Exterior fengshui considerations

As one’s external environment accounts for more than interior considerations, it is important to consider features of the surrounding space when selecting a resale flat.
Situated at the boundary of Tengah and Jurong West, Plantation Creek residents will have easy access to Jurong’s amenities. Its proximity to the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE), however, raises concerns about noise and light pollution. Stacks that face the PIE include 361, 363, 379, 381, 395 and 397.
On the other hand, these stacks also face the future Tengah Pond. Higher floor units of these stacks shall enjoy unobstructed waterfront views. In fengshui, unobstructed views are favoured as they represent the Red Phoenix, symbolising aspiration and a bright future. This open flow of energy, free from Sha Qi (conflicting energy), is considered essential for a harmonious living environment.
A household is also considered auspicious and blessed with prosperity and abundance if you can see flowing water from your living room, especially if there is a large door or window that allows an inflow of energy from the water body across your home.
However, it is crucial to determine the river flow direction to determine if having a view of the flowing water is indeed beneficial to one’s household. If in doubt, it is best to seek advice from a professional fengshui practitioner.
Adjacent to Plantation Creek across Tengah Garden Avenue is a site reserved for a church. From a fengshui perspective, places of worship are where devotees gather and pray, hence they will congregate a strong force of energy that may cause a qi imbalance to its surroundings. It is believed that facing the cross of a church directly is unfavourable for long-term dwellers.
Nevertheless, residents will need to consider factors like the house facing, distance from the church/temple, the luck cycle of the residents, etc., to accurately evaluate the impact of staying near a place of worship. Also, with so many people staying together within the blocks, the yang energy gathered is strong enough to ward off the yin energy from the place of worship.
As Tengah develops rapidly, residents must stay aware of future developments surrounding your home, especially for those facing the upcoming Tengah Pond. Nearby sites reserved for development indicate noise pollution during the day, and potential negative energies or direct conflicts. If in doubt, consider seeking advice from a professional fengshui practitioner.
Internal fengshui considerations
Homeowners should bear in mind the main orientation of your house, as it will directly influence the overall luck of your household member(s). The house orientation refers to the facing of your house, which can be measured from the main entrance where qi flows in.

Did you know?
Money is not everything, but without it, you can hardly do anything. For those who are focused on building your wealth, you may want to be more mindful of your wealth position, as well as the shoe shelf, in your home.
The wealth position refers to a place where wealth accumulates. Hence, the space surrounding your wealth position must be kept clean and tidy. There should not be clutter, electrical appliances or sharp objects around or at your wealth position.
There is heavy Sha (煞气), aka negative energies, where the shoe shelf is located. Hence, your wealth luck will be affected if your shoe shelf directly faces your wealth position. Some people unknowingly positioned their shoe shelf at their wealth position. When this happens, their wealth is likely to disperse, and one may find that it is difficult to accumulate wealth. Should this happen, it is best to shift the shoe shelf or avoid placing shoes within the rack.
For the uninitiated, the fengshui Period 9 is influenced by a wealth star, indicating growing fortune and propitiousness, just like the current Period 8. However, the Fire element influencing Period 9 is not as stable as the Earth element in Period 8.
If you are planning to conduct a home renovation to tap into the beneficial energies of Period 9, do get in touch for a fengshui consultation.
