Fengshui Directions

You might have heard of the famous geomantic saying, “Houses facing North or South will enjoy good fengshui”. But how true is this statement?

According to Master Goh, it is highly recommended that homeowners select a house orientation complementing their Bazi. While North or South are generally auspicious directions in Periods 8 (2004 – 2023) and 9 (2024 – 2043), it is important to note that there is no fixed lucky direction that caters to everyone.

As apartments at The Crest are strategically built in a way that they do not face each other, it results in a wide range of directions for different units.

Listed below is a breakdown of house orientations based on residential blocks:

Blocks 101, 103 & 105: North, Northeast, East, Southeast, South & Southwest

Blocks 107, 109 & 113: Southeast & Southwest

Block 111: Northeast, Southeast, Southwest & Northwest

As mentioned earlier, the luck rating of each direction varies according to the homeowners’ Bazi. For example, Northeast may be an auspicious direction for some, but inauspicious for others.

Besides your Bazi, you must also take your spouse’s Bazi into consideration. With so many possible combinations, homeowners should consult a fengshui master to ensure that they select an appropriate home that complements their Bazi.

Other Things to Note

Master Goh observed that water features near the main gate are conducive to good fengshui as they help alleviate incoming sha qi from the main road and symbolise wealth accumulation for sustainable prosperity.

He concluded by stating that The Crest’s tranquil and beautiful setting makes it an excellent residential option for retirees.
