Fengshui Formation of Bishan Towers in District 20
Bounded by Bishan Street 11 and Braddell Road, Bishan Towers sits on the Southern Dragon in Singapore’s district 20.
From a fengshui perspective, Bishan is believed to be a “Monkey Land”. Here, there are two types of monkeys with distinct personalities, each to be found at MacRitchie Reservoir and Peirce Reservoir respectively. The two white monkeys at MacRitchie Reservoir may be fun-loving but they are capable of protecting the reservoir. This indicates good potential for commercial and technology developments.
At Peirce Reservoir, there are five monkeys that can each be distinguished by the Five Elements (Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth). Their influence is similar to that of the “Five Ghosts Transporting Treasures” formation in Ang Mo Kio. Exterior fengshui considerations

As its name suggests, Bishan Towers feature two high-rise residential buildings that serve as prominent landmarks to enhance the skyline along Kallang River. At 25 to 33 storeys tall, some higher floor units are bound to enjoy unblocked views, which are favoured in fengshui.
In fengshui, the front of your dwelling represents the Red Phoenix, which also symbolises aspirations and a bright future. As such, unblocked views promise smooth flow of energy in the absence of points of conflict (sha). This is why people favour higher floor units or seafront living, as such options present a higher chance of getting unblocked views.
On the other hand, units at Bishan Towers have their main door facing the living room’s windows directly. In such a scenario, there could be challenges to accumulating auspicious energies, especially those located on higher floors. Nevertheless, this is a minor issue that can be rectified with proper fengshui measures.
Another highlight of Bishan Towers is its location along the Kallang River. In fact, some stacks such as 108, 110, 130, 132 overlook the river, providing tranquil views from one’s living room and bedroom. In landscape fengshui, a household is considered auspicious and blessed with prosperity and abundance if you can see flowing water from your living room, especially if there is a large door or window that allows an inflow of energy from the river across your home.

Last but not least, lower floor units of stack 112, 114, 116, 118 at Bishan Towers should take note of the 4-storey Multi-Storey Car Park (MSCP). This could cause disturbances to daily life such as insomnia. To counter this, homeowners can consider installing a window blind.

Bishan Towers comprises two residential blocks with 472 units of 2-room Flexi, 3-, 4-room flats. The blocks range from 25 to 33-storeys in height.
