Although Bellewaters EC has good landscaping design that uses nature within its estate, its location fronting the Tampines Expressway (TPE) may affect some of the units, especially those on the higher floor in stacks 29, 30, 33, 34, 39 and 40.
Facing the expressway directly implies potential light and noise pollution aka Sound Sha (声煞) from the traffic, which may cause disturbance. In addition to that, one should also consider traffic noises from overhead planes. Unavoidable in Singapore’s concrete jungle, Sound Sha can increase stress and blood pressure levels. Worse still, it can even lead to insomnia.
