Born in Singapore, Grand Master Tan inherited his forefathers’ expertise at the early age of 30 and established Way Chinese Geomancy Centre in 1984. He is a veteran of geomancy studies and has provided excellent fengshui consultancy services for more than 25 years.

Having conducted more than 1000 seminars worldwide, GM Tan is well-known internationally but amid his success, he is an avid pupil who continually enhances his practice with research and studies.

Since 2004, GM Tan has been representing Singapore in the International Feng Shui Convention (IFSC). In 2008, he received the prestigious title of “Feng Shui Grand Master” by the International Feng Shui Association (IFSA) and is the first feng shui practitioner in Singapore to be awarded this title.

In recognition of his contributions to the society, GM Tan received the Public Service Medal (PBM) in 1999 from then-Singapore President S.R. Nathan. He was also appointed the Academic Advisor to the Department of Philosophy at Peking University in 1993. A man of great talents and enthusiasm, GM Tan currently holds various roles such as the Vice President of IFSA, Vice Chairman of the Organization for Promoting Global Civilization and Honorary Council Chairman of the Singapore Association of Writers.
