Its connectivity to Kovan MRT station, malls and food centres makes it seem like an obvious residence choice. But how does it fare in fengshui terms? Kovan Wellspring: Landform fengshui
Located between Upper Serangoon Road and Tampines Road, Kovan Wellspring sits on the Eastern Dragon of Singapore and shares the same fengshui land formation with Hougang Citrine, its August 2021 Hougang BTO counterpart.
Being a part of the “Paired Lotus Land” that favours family and females, Kovan Wellspring is ideal for young families, especially those with daughters. Most of the units at this highly coveted estate face either North or South, with selected units such as those at Blk 215A facing the Northeast. As both North and South are auspicious directions in the upcoming Period 9 and Period 1 (year 2024 – 2063), it is best to select a unit that faces either of these directions to tap on the positive energies.
For those who are looking at 4-room units, it is worthy to note that the blocks nearest to the Kovan market and food centre are facing South and could be an ideal choice.
On the other hand, units facing North along the main roads are likely to experience noise sha and should look into fengshui remedies to reduce negative impacts. For those who are choosing units near the 7-storey car park, it is best to select a unit on the 8th floor or above.
The floor plans of the units at Kovan Wellspring are pretty standard ones, similar to previous HDB offerings. Nonetheless, do take note of the shape of the living room when you are selecting a unit. Exterior fengshui considerations
With Kovan Wellspring and Hougang Citrine being launched at the same time, there’d naturally be comparison and Kovan Wellspring has mostly been favoured for its easier accessibility and more amenities. However, what about the fengshui considerations?
Kovan Wellspring is connected to Kovan MRT station. If you are planning to choose a unit that is nearest to the train station, you need not worry about conflicting energies as the community centre acts as a buffer, reducing potential negative impacts. Nonetheless, units on higher floors are recommended.
Be mindful if you plan to select a unit facing the main roads, namely Tampines Road and Upper Serangoon Road. Due to the busy traffic, noise sha among other conflicting points would be a concern. As long as your unit does not directly face incoming traffic, there are fengshui remedies to improve the situation.
